We raise pastured organic chickens for our eggs. Some of the curious chickens captured in this photo are Rhode Island Reds, New Hampshire Reds, White Leghorns, Aracaunas, Barred Rock and Black Sex-Link.
The chickens live in houses that can be moved as the seasons and pastures change. Currently, they are close to the horse barn where we can give them plenty of care during our cold winter days.
In the forefront is our Barred Rock rooster checking out the camera while his ladies enjoy the sun and hay.
The eggs are hand washed in our kitchen then sorted into cartons before being sold.
